Getting There

BY PLANE

Baja California has offers plenty of international airport options with Tijuana (TIJ) in the north and Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)La Paz (LAP), Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL) and Loreto International Airport (LTO) down south.

Many major U.S. airline connections pass through San Diego (SAN).

BY LAND

Baja's main border crossings into the U.S. include Tijuana, Tecate and Mexicali. However, keep in mind that driving from northern TIjuana to southern Los Cabos is well over 700 miles. If Baja's idyllic southern stretches are your end game, traveling by land won't be your most efficient option.

BY BOAT

Travelers can catch ferries that run from Pichilingue and Santa Rosalía and Pichilingue, neighboring La Paz, to travel between Baja California and the mainland.
